About

I almost wrote a book in 2016.

The story behind Prosed

It was a guide for young professionals on how to use LinkedIn. I had the outline, the research, the experience. I started writing it.

What happened to that book? It's still sitting in my Google Drive.

Not because it was a bad idea. Not because I ran out of things to say. I just ran out of time. Every week I'd tell myself I'd get back to it. Every week something else came up. And the gap between "I have all this content" and "I have a published book" never closed.

That feeling stuck with me

For years. Because it wasn't writer's block. I had the material. Hundreds of posts, essays, frameworks, stories spread across newsletters, podcasts, social media. The book was already there, buried in everything I'd already published. It just needed a spine.

I kept meeting people with the same problem. Coaches with 200 episodes. Newsletter writers with 5 years of archives. YouTubers with libraries of content. All of them saying the same thing: "I should really write a book."

They didn't need to write a book. They needed someone to assemble one.

The book you want to write already exists. It's scattered across years of content you've already published. Prosed puts a spine through it.

So I built it

Prosed is the thing that would have helped me finish that LinkedIn guide in 2016. A service that takes the content you already have and structures it into a real, publish-ready book. Your voice. Your ideas. Your stories. Just organized into something you'd actually be proud to put your name on.

It uses AI the way a good editor uses their instincts. To find patterns in your writing. To identify the throughlines across hundreds of posts. To structure chapters that flow. But the words, the ideas, the perspective? That's all you. Prosed doesn't generate your book. It assembles it.

How it works

You share your content. A Substack archive, a YouTube channel, LinkedIn posts, podcast transcripts, whatever you've got. Prosed reads everything, maps your themes and voice, proposes a structure, and assembles a complete first draft. You review it in your own portal, make edits, request rewrites, and approve the final version.

The whole thing takes days, not months. And it costs less than a single ghostwriting consultation.

Who this is for

Creators who've been publishing for years and have more content than they know what to do with. Newsletter writers. Podcasters. Coaches. YouTubers. LinkedIn thought leaders. Anyone who's been saying "I should write a book" but hasn't had the time to sit down and do it from scratch.

You don't need to be a professional writer. You just need to have been creating. Prosed handles the rest.

Your book is already written. It just needs a spine.
